8ft x 12 ft field shelter with 3ft overhang.

This is a 8ft x 12ft field shelter, 8ft high with a 2ft overhang.

We built this shelter for a pair of 17hh horses in Northumberland that needed shelter from rain, but also strong winds as they are in a field exposed to the elements, We positioned the shelter with the back facing into the wind near a hedge that was giving a bit of natural shelter, this left a nice little sheltered area between the back of the shelter and the hedge as well as the covered area under the shelter that had been increased by the extra 3ft over hang. We used two large fence posts as well as the normal stakes to anchor this shelter down, just to be on the safe side as it was open front with the extra overhang, and also in a exposed field. The sun was behind the shelter when we took this photo so we apologize for the poor image.
