Unique Field Shelters - Mobile Field Shelters - Durable Plastic - Maintenance Free

Do I need planning permission for a mobile field shelter?

Answer No, you dont need planning permission for a mobile field shelter. They do not constitute any engineering or ground work, rest on their own base and are easily transported. Do ensure that you have permission to graze your horses on the fields, as although your mobile field shelter does not need permission you may need permission to graze your horses. Although with farm diversification, something the government is encouraging these days, this is not a big concern as it once might have been.

Will my mobile field shelter blow over?

Answer Your mobile field shelter is built with a very strong galvanized steel frame and is anchored to the ground with heavy duty ground stakes. These shelters have been tried and tested high up on hills subject to extreme weather conditions and have stood up to everything that has been thrown at them, they do not blow over, warp, crack, or fall to pieces like some wooden shelters have when exposed to the same conditions, and we back this up with a unique five year warranty not subject to annual maintenance programs like wooden buildings.

How long should my mobile field shelter last?

Answer Your mobile field shelter has been manufactured in the UK to a very high standard using the best components and materials possible, All the steel work has been galvanized in the same way that electricity pylons are, this will protect the steel for between 20 - 50+ years depending on location, the cover material is also incredibly hard wearing and durable, we would expect your shelter to last 20 years or more.

If my mobile field shelter got damaged, can it be repaired?

Answer If your shelter got damaged, we can repair or replace any individual part or component, we also do a d.i.y. repair kit for minor repairs.

Can we alter our mobile field shelter later on?

Answer Yes, all our shelters are easy to change or modify, panels are interchangable due to the modula design, we also offer a unique part exchange service.

Can kick boards be fitted to my mobile field shelter?

Answer Yes we can fit kick boards or make the bottom part of the panels double skinned, although this is not usually required as the cover material has a higher resistance to impact than a standard kick board.

Can our mobile field shelter be towed?

Answer Yes we can fit skids if you want to tow your shelter, but our shelters are quick and easy to move even without skids and on rough or uneven ground skids are not always very practical, although skids can be good on hard flat land, this is somthing to consider when ordering your shelter.
